Now, I’m running for Mayor of Edmonton to bring that same clarity and courage to our city — protecting the right to choose, leading with gentle strength, and creating a city of wonder, healing, and possibility.

I’m Vanessa Denman, a Business Intuitive with over a decade of experience helping individuals, organizations, and now an entire city move beyond limitations and into alignment with their true potential. With formal training in finance and marketing, and real-world leadership in retail and property management, I bring grounded business sense and intuitive clarity to every decision.

For the past 10 years, I’ve guided leaders to dissolve inherited mindsets, release stunted beliefs, and transform energetic misalignment into forward momentum. My work helps people and systems see themselves more clearly — so choices are rooted not in fear or habit, but in vision, truth, and possibility.

For the past four years, I’ve had the rare and humbling pleasure of waking up before Edmonton itself—greeting the city in those quiet, sacred moments when the sun begins to illuminate our world.

I’ve watched the city come alive through the dance of squirrels at play and the graceful run of moose weaving through the early morning mist. I’ve paused to say hello to the waking bees and wasps, marveling at their gentle hum of life.

Dragonflies have circled around me with their strategic, delicate movements—as if guiding me through this unfolding morning symphony. The fresh-cut grass carries a sweet, grounding scent that fills the air, mingling with the mystery that lies just beyond the early morning fog.

Over the river, I’ve witnessed the majestic flight of eagles, soaring with divine purpose as they hunt their prey. I’ve heard the coyotes’ playful morning howls and seen a four-point buck standing regal on the 16th green, a quiet guardian of our shared spaces.

These moments of natural beauty have opened my heart and awakened a deep belief in the magic woven into Edmonton’s very fabric.
